Brands Hatch Indy - Silverstone National - Final rounds of 2024 WSSCC

Setember 29^th Silverstone National   rounds 9 & 10

We were teamed again with The  CMMC Inter-marque Silhouette Series for our visit to Silverstone National circuit for the final races in the  2024 Welsh Sports and Saloon Car Championship. -Craig Dolby WRDA Guest no, 1 was fastest of all in Nigel Mustill’s Volvo S60 and WRDA Guest no, 2 Jack Gadd was  in a Ford  Escort RSR was alongside!

22^nd was Dave Krayem and his Ginetta G50, it was good to see Daves name on the entry list, Especially as Chris Everill was absent with car problems. Dave was a little low on the Quali list but was on Class Five pole. 25^th and on Class Two pole was  Simon BAKER (Mazda RX8 ) 27^th was  James Harvey (2024 Class 5 Champion) and his Porsche Boxster  In 30^th was  WRDA points leader  Wayne SPILLER (Mazda RX8) featuring the usual Transponder warning. In 38^th was  Mike COOK (2024 Class 3 Champion) (BMW 330 Clubsport)   In 40 was WRDA Guest no 3  was Colin RISBRIDGER  (Mazda 2DE) and  41^st WRDA Guest 4 Robbie BOOT (Mazda 2 Sport ) 42nd on the Giant grid was Verity BANKS (2024 Class one Champion) ( Ford Fiesta)
 
 Race  one - 15 mins Rolling Start- Dave Krayem didn’t take long to get thru the field, and for 3 laps it was WRDA Guest Craig Dolby in 1^st place, WRDA Guest Jack Gadd 2nd and Dave Krayem 3^rd.Sadly Dave Krayem and his Class 5 Ginetta G50 only lasted 6 laps! Better luck for you and Chris in 2025! Rueben Taylor won the battle of the Silhouette Tigras to be 3^rd with Russ and his Silhouette Tigra a close 4^th!
9^th overall (and winner of a bigger Class 5) was James HARVEY Porsche Boxter S
11^th (and winner of Class 2) was  car 11 Simon BAKER Mazda RX8
12^th was Wayne SPILLER Mazda RX8
 14^th (and Class 3 winner) was Mike COOK BMW 330 Clubsport
15^th was WRDA Guest 3,  Colin RISBRIDGER Mazda 2DE
17 th (and winner of Class One) was WRDA 1 1 Verity BANKS Ford Fiesta
18^th was WRDA Guest 4,  Robbie BOOT Mazda 2 Sport

 

 

Race 2. 15 mins Rolling Start

Nigel Mustill and his car did their usual disappearing trick after Race 1!

This left Jack Gadd (WRDA Guest) to take the win by 38 seconds over Rueben Taylor & Russ Humprey. 

9^th overall (and Class 5 Champion) was James HARVEY Porsche Boxter S

10^th  and only .58 behind James (and winner of Class 2) was   Simon BAKER Mazda RX8

11^th was 2024  Champion, Wayne SPILLER Mazda RX8 (2^nd in Class 2) and the last person on the lead lap.

 13^th (and Class 3 winner) was Mike COOK BMW 330 Clubsport

14^th was WRDA Guest 2,  Colin RISBRIDGER Mazda 2DE

15 th (and winner of Class One) was WRDA 1 1 Verity BANKS Ford Fiesta

^16th was WRDA Guest 3,  Robbie BOOT Mazda 2 Sport . Lets Hope we see Colin & Robbie with us in again 2025.

 Brands Hatch Indy - Classic And Modern Motorsport  - rounds 7 & 8

We were teamed with The CMMC Hossier Tire Intermarque Silhouette Series  for our first visit to Brands Hatch. Damian Longotano joined us as a €˜Guest€™ driver but gave the Silhouette a big scare by finishing 7^th Overall in race 1 and 5^th Overall in race 2 ! Russell Haggerty (Class $) was next up in 13th in race 1, ahead of Simon  Baker (Class Two Winner) in 14^th with James Harvey in 15^th and Wayne Spiller  (2^nd in Class Two but Fastest Lap winner) Mike Cook and Verity Bank were 18^th & 19^th  Malcolm Harding (Guest) Did  not Finish.  In Race 2 Damian Longotano but gave the Silhouettes another big scare by finishing  5^th Overall in race .James Harvey finished in 15^th and Wayne Spiller  12^th  but won Class Two and had the Fastest Lap) Mike Cook and Verity Bank were 16^th & 17^th  Russell Haggerty was Black Flagged
