Castle Combe- Saturday 28/6/20205 -WSSCC rounds 8 n 9
Race One = 20 minutes –rolling start
Dave Scarmanga (who raced with us in years past) was on Pole position in a Ferrari 488 and took the Lead and he was never headed, scoring 18 laps in the 20 minute race! Dylan Popovic was 2nd (Ginnetta G50) and ran Dave very close! 3rd was Chris Everill, until he slowed and then retired after 13 laps joining Verity, who only made 8 laps! Keith BUTCHER was 4th in his Lambo and the last person on the Lead lap!
Wayne Spiller (Seat Leon) finished 8th , Leigh Haslett (Mazda MX8)was 10th
Mike Cook was11th. Doug Forbes was 12th and Russel Haggerty was the last finisher in 13th.
Race 2 = 20 minutes –rolling start
Keith BUTCHER loaned his car to Sacha Kakad who put it on pole position! Chris Everill was 4th initially, but he only made 6 laps before retiring!
Wayne Spillier (Seat Leon) was now the leading WSSCC contender in 8th place. In 10th Leigh HASLETT Mazda RX8, in 11th was Doug FORBES Ginetta G20. Russell HAGGERTY Ford KA making up the WSSCC entries.
