Oulton Park-Saturday 25th April 2026 Report
For these races we were paired with the CNC Class E & F
Kirk Armitage was a WRDA non-points scoring guest and started from pole in his potent BMW M2! So, forgetting Armitage, Fabio Lufferelli (a long time WSSCC competer from Cornwall, who had just joined us for 2026), was 2nd fastest and the effectively WSSCC pole! Neil Hibbert was 3rd fastest and Pole for the CNC championship (Computer numerical control (CNC) or CNC machining is the automated control of machine tools by a computer. or so the internet says)
James Harvey (Porsche Boxster S) was 4th and on Class 2 pole! Colin Dunn (a former WSSCC Champion but now a non-points scoring guest) was next. Thomas Fowler was 9th, Cerredig Williams was 15th and Graham Huxter was 16th . Verity Banks was 18th but ahead of 2 WSSCC Champions Wayne Spiller (2024/2025) and Fabio Lufferelli (2017) as neither of them could set a time!
2026 WSSCC Round 3 – 20 minutes Rolling Start
Our normal Race distance is 15 minutes but CMC normally do 20 minutes race time!
At the start, Kirk Armitage and his BMW ran away and was never headed. He did 11 laps of the 2.9 miles lap in the 20 minutes, but James Harvey was 2nd overall and was the first WSSCC runner! Tom Fowler was 8th overall and the last runner on the lead lap! A fine effort! The midfield bunch including Cerredig Williams (11th) and Graham Huxter 13th again provided some of the closest racing! So Kirk Armitage was the Overall winner and Verity Banks was the final finisher!
Not Classified ( I,e Retired) included Colin Dunn, Wayne Spiller and Fabio Lufferelli. no sign of Fabio’s son Tyrone Lufferelli !

2026 WSSCC Round 4 – 20 minutes Rolling Start
At the start, Kirk Armitage was on pole but James Harvey was 2nd overall and was the first WSSCC runner. In time honoured WSSCC fashion, because they were among the DNFs in race one, starting from the back, where Matt Hibbert, Tyrone Lufferelli, Wayne Spiller and Colin Dunn. Wayne Spiller was one of the dnf in race 2 after 5 laps! The other DNF was Kirk Armitage, who stopped on the last but one lap! On the rise were Hibbert, Tyrone Lufferelli (Driving his dads usually mount , the VW Corrado) and Colin Dunn. Hibbert, and Tyrone Lufferelli profited from Kirk Armitages’ problems to finish First and 2nd Overall. James Harvey was 3rd (and now leads the 2026 Welsh Championship)) . Colin Dunn was 4th Tom Fowler was 8th, Cerredig Williams was 11th and Graham Huxter was 13th with his Clio, Brian Giolsean (CNC) was 14th in his Clio and Verity made it 3 x Clios in a row!
So in race 2 Tyrone was the first WSSCC contender and Harvey, Fowler, Williams, Huxter and Verity Banks continued their excellent finishing records.
